AI Agent Hardware Buyer's Guide: Kaihe AIBOX Full Series A1/E1/B1/F1 — Which Model Fits You?
📖 Glossary
AI Box (also known as Agent Computer / Agent PC), is a dedicated local hardware device that runs AI Agents. Pre-installed with an AI agent management system, plug-and-play, running 24/7. Users can remotely command AI to work via Discord, Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, and more.
Abstract: Which Kaihe AIBOX model is right for you? A1 for home entry at ¥999, B1 for industrial wide-temperature at ¥3,399, E1 for high-performance office at ¥12,999, F1 flagship at ¥22,999. Choose based on your use case and budget.
Before choosing AI Agent hardware, answer one question: What do you need it to run?
If you just want an Agent to check weather, reply to messages, and send reminders — you need a 24/7 online scheduler, not local model inference.
If you want an Agent to process contracts locally, run data analysis, and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously — you need a device with enough compute for local inference.
Different needs map to different hardware. The four Kaihe AIBOX models are designed along this logic.
A1: Home Entry, ¥999
Chip: Rockchip RK3576, 8-core processor RAM: 4GB LPDDR4X Storage: 64GB eMMC Power: ≤10W Positioning: Home entry model
The A1's core capability is Agent scheduling + cloud inference. The device runs the Agent framework locally (OpenClaw for message routing, Hermes for task orchestration), and calls cloud APIs when large model inference is needed.
This means the A1 doesn't need strong local compute — it's not running 7B-parameter models locally. It delegates "AI understanding" to the cloud while handling scheduling and execution locally. 4GB RAM is sufficient for the Agent framework + small model assistance, with no lag in daily use.
Monthly electricity cost: approximately ¥5 — 10W running 24/7 consumes only a few kilowatt-hours per month.
Best for: Individual users, small teams, anyone curious about AI Agents. No need for local model inference — just a 24/7 smart assistant.

B1: Industrial Wide-Temperature, ¥3,399
Chip: Rockchip RK3588S, 8-core 2.4GHz RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X Storage: 128GB eMMC Power: ≤10W Positioning: Industrial wide-temperature model
The B1 shares the same architecture philosophy as the A1 — Agent scheduling + cloud inference. The difference: memory doubled to 16GB, storage doubled to 128GB, and a stronger processor.
16GB RAM enables the B1 to run 2B-4B small models locally for auxiliary inference — completing simple tasks without cloud dependency. In disconnected environments (factory floors, remote warehouses), this matters.
Another key difference: wide-temperature design. Operating range from -20°C to 70°C, full-metal passive cooling with no fan. Most electronics shut down at -5°C. The B1 keeps running at -20°C. No fan means no dust clogging — factory workshops, outdoor gateway deployments, warehouse environments won't cause cooling failures.
Best for: Industrial scenarios, warehousing and logistics, outdoor gateway deployment, any environment requiring stable wide-temperature operation. Also suitable for commercial office — 16GB handles multi-Agent concurrency more smoothly.
E1: High-Performance Office, ¥12,999
Chip: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, 12-core 24-thread RAM: 32GB DDR5 5600MHz (expandable up to 128GB) Storage: 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD Power: ~35W Positioning: High-performance x86 office + AI inference
From the E1 onward, the architecture shifts — from ARM to x86, from Agent scheduling to local large model inference.
32GB DDR5 RAM enables the E1 to run 9B-14B parameter models locally — DeepSeek distilled versions, Qwen2.5-14B run smoothly on the E1. No cloud API dependency; data never leaves the device.
Additionally, the E1 is a complete Windows/Linux office computer — 12-core 24-thread AMD processor, 1TB NVMe SSD, fully capable as a daily workstation. AI Agent and office work happen on the same device, no need for a separate PC.

NPU provides 55 TOPS of AI compute, with total system compute reaching 86 TOPS — fast inference and strong multi-Agent concurrency.
Best for: Mid-size enterprises, professional studios, teams with strict data security requirements (legal, financial, medical). Need local inference + daily office in one device.
F1: Flagship, ¥22,999
Chip: AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 16-core 32-thread RAM: 128GB LPDDR5X-8000 Storage: 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD Power: TDP 65W / peak ~120W Positioning: Flagship local large model execution + fine-tuning
128GB unified memory is the F1's headline feature. 128GB means running 70B-235B parameter models locally — DeepSeek-V3 full version, Qwen2.5-72B, and similar top-tier models run on the F1 without cloud dependency.
For teams handling large volumes of sensitive data (law firms processing contracts, hospitals handling medical records, financial institutions analyzing reports), data-not-leaving-device is a must. The F1 enables these teams to run the strongest models locally without sending data to any third-party server.
126 TOPS total AI compute, 16-core 32-thread processor, 2TB high-speed storage — complex Agent orchestration, multi-model concurrent execution, and model fine-tuning are all within the F1's capability.
Power consumption is higher than the other models (65W TDP, 120W peak), but it delivers the ability to run top-tier models locally. Monthly electricity: approximately ¥30-50 — negligible for enterprise users.
Best for: Large enterprises, AI research teams, industries with extremely high data security requirements. Need to run 70B+ models locally + fine-tuning.
